About Kevin

Writer, father, and believer in the possibility of starting over.

I’m a husband, father, and writer who knows what it is to have life come apart and to have to build again.

The rebuilding didn’t just touch one part of life. It touched my marriage, my family, my career, my friendships, my community, and my sense of self. It was painful, disorienting, and at times deeply lonely. But over time, it also became clarifying and empowering. It stripped away a lot of what was performative and forced me to ask what was real, what mattered, and how I actually wanted to live.

That journey has shaped so much of who I am now. It’s made me care less about appearances and more about vulnerability. Less about proving and more about connection. Less about having clean answers and more about living with the unknown.

My wife and three sons are at the center of my life. I care deeply about friendship, meaningful conversation, growth, resilience, beauty, and the hope that people really can begin again. I also care about helping people feel less alone in that process.

This site is where I share the more personal side of my work: the writing, the reflections, and the larger story behind my upcoming memoir, The Son-in-Law. It’s a place to explore identity, healing, loss, rebuilding, and what it means to become more fully yourself on the other side of profound change.

I’m glad you’re here. If something here resonates with you and you’d like to connect, I’d genuinely welcome that.
